Operational Efficiencies – What improvements can Murphy’s Metal Manufacturing implement to maximize value in the near term? A “check-up” that assesses the company’s organizational design, supply chain processes, outsourcing activities, manufacturing processes, and performance measurement procedures can yield significant results. Join us as we follow the case study and hear tips from Bert Weil, a managing director at the turnaround, workout and performance improvement firm Getzler Henrich & Associates.

Bert Weil is a resident of Ridgefield, CT, with more than two decades of consulting experience in light & heavy manufacturing, imported- and domestic-product merchandising and distribution, food processing, apparel and textile, professional services, printing, non-profit, and retail. Prior to consulting, he worked in large and middle market corporate environments, including as an officer of a public company. He has since advised over 140 entities, helping them with operational and profit improvement programs, organizational restructurings, transition planning, debt replacements and sell-side transactions. Bert holds an MBA from New York University and a BS from Lehigh University, and he is a CPA and a CTP, Certified Turnaround Professional. He is a member of the board of the Turnaround Management Association’s New York chapter, an ACG member and a new member of XPX.
