Our Speakers:
Robert Gerstel - CEO of A.G. Adjustments (AGA)
Robert is the CEO of A.G. Adjustments (AGA). Bob’s father Al Gerstel founded AGA in 1972. Bob began his career in the collection industry at the kitchen learning the nuances of the business through the simple discussions at the dinner table. During summers and vacations from high school and through college at SUNY Farmingdale he would work in all facets of the “family business”.
In 1990 Bob’s father passed away and he ascended to CEO of the company.
He is a member of the Commercial Law League of America as well as Platinum member of the Credit Research foundation. Bob is also a founding member of the Commercial Collection Agency Of America. He is a frequent panelist in the organizations as well as frequent speaker to credit departments around the country as it relates to best practices in the collection arena and proper collection techniques.
Terry Hannafin - Managing Director, Carter Morse & Goodrich
Terence (Terry) joined Carter Morse & Goodrich in 2019 as a Managing Director and is involved with all the firm’s corporate finance activities including debt and equity financings, recapitalizations and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to CMG, he spent 11 years at de Visscher & Co. and Family Capital Growth Partners.
Mr. Hannafin currently serves as VP of XPX TriState Region and is a member of the Family Firm Institute, a leading association for professionals serving the family enterprise field.
Mr. Hannafin holds a BS in Finance from Boston College where he was a member of its football team.
