Mr. Cullins has over twenty years of experience in the financial valuation industry. He has conducted valuations of the securities and intangible assets of public and private corporations under ASC 820, 805, 350 and 718 for various purposes including acquisition/divestiture, fairness opinions, reorganizations, solvency opinions, estate planning, and regulatory compliance. He has prepared valuations of business enterprises, capital stock and stock options for purposes such as mergers and acquisitions and S-Corporation conversions. Specialties: Purchase Price Allocation, Goodwill Impairment Testing, Fair Value Accounting, Business Valuation, Intangible Asset Valuation and Derivative Valuation.

Matt is both a CPA and CEPA (Certified Exit Planning Advisor) with over 8 years of professional services experience, with the prior 3 years in transaction advisory services.

He has worked on more than 25 due diligence projects including sell-side projects and add-ons for buy-side transactions, with transaction values ranging from $1 million to $130 million. Matt started his accounting career in the audit and attestation group at Stephano Slack in 2015 and has a wealth of experience serving companies in the lower middle market, with an industry focus on manufacturing and distribution, construction services, and professional services.
