Solid financial performance is, of course essential, however numerous factors are considered before a company is truly “ready to sell”. Akila has extensive experience providing valuation services in support of tax planning and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, exit planning and financial reporting. Her casework includes the valuation of business interests, complex securities, debt instruments, intangible assets and emerging company valuations. Ms. Narayanan’s industry experience includes biotech, government contracting, insurance, manufacturing, professional services, real estate and construction, restaurants, retail, software, technology, private equity, hedge funds and venture capital, among others. She is a member of the Appraisal Issues Task Force (AITF), a voluntary group of valuation professionals seeking to improve the practice. She is also an active member of the Washington DC and Northern Virginia Estate Planning Councils.
