NEW FORMAT: XPX Members Only Cross-Chapter Power Networking (led by EvaluSys)

Since its inception, XPX Cross-Chapter Networking has offered members an opportunity to meet talented professionals from across the U.S.  Regrettably, the common Zoom breakout group networking format has allowed small groups to hear little more than each other's 30-second commercials, oelevator pitch, offering only a surface-level understanding of their background and services.

Wouldn't it be great to not just hear someone's prepared sales pitch but to get a chance to learn how someone thinks?  How they communicate?  Not just what they know but how they put that knowledge to work?  How they might collaborate as part of a team?

Over the past year, we've experimented with having XPX Advisor Resource Center (ARC) sponsors develop questions for discussion in networking breakouts.  This has been well received, and in many cases members report having learned useful information through those discussions.  Unfortunately, that learning was limited to members of individual breakout groups and that information was not able to be captured and shared across all networking participants and the XPX community as a whole.

For our October session, we're experimenting with a NEW FORMAT for cross-chapter networking events.  This new model features:

• Expanded 90 minute program (4:30-6:00 pm Eastern Time).
• Two discussion topics thoughtfully designed by the Advisor Resource Center sponsor, Tom Bixby, CEO of EvaluSys.
• Two 20-minute breakout sessions with group leaders assigned randomly by Cheryl Centeno.  Group leaders will ensure quick introductions for newcomers followed by engaging discussion of the assigned topic.
• Two 10-minute insight sharing sessions moderated by Tom, asking group leaders to recap key discussion points from their individual groups.  
• The event sponsor will plan to summarize all the learnings in a Knowledge Exchange article to be highlighted in the next monthly XPX Newsletter.

How to join the program on October 21:

Join the Zoom session promptly by clicking on the Live Session in Zoom tab (pictured below) on the Cross-Chapter Community homepage of Swapcard. We'll begin on the hour with a brief introduction before diving into the networking. 

Important note for members who are first-time users of Swapcard: Please register by Monday, October 20th in order to be added to the Swapcard platform the day before the program.
