XPX New York: Employee ownership as an Exit Plan
Employee ownership is an option that many exiting business owners ignore or are not aware of, yet for many, it is the approach that can best achieve their financial and non-financial goals. This seminar will walk through the benefits of broad based ownership and why business owners should add employee ownership to the options they are considering in their exit. We will provide an overview of the various forms of employee ownership, including Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), employee ownership trusts, and worker cooperatives as well as the process a transition to employee ownership entails.
