In 2005, Mr. Baum co-founded Consumer Growth Partners, a private equity investment and advisory firm with an exclusive focus on lower middle market companies in the retail and non-perishable branded consumer products sectors. Previously, Mr. Baum spent over 15 years as a sell-side equity research analyst at Sanford Bernstein & Co., Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse First Boston covering the specialty retail sector. He also was a merchant at Bloomingdale's and began his career at the Boston Consulting Group. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Harvard Law School.
