The New Jersey chapter is growing and welcoming professional advisors who help business owners plan for a successful exit. As we continue to examine many of the different planning considerations and decisions an owner needs to face, our members participate in this interactive discussion.   We welcome your attendance at our next meeting. 

Strategic buyers are become more active in pursuing acquisitions to accelerate growth, access new technologies and gain market share.  Sellers must be aware of current market shifts and understand how their organization are positioned.  Equally this can influence the direction of current operations and growth, in anticipation of a future sale. 

We will explore many elements to the current market environment.  How should sellers react when approached by outside buyers?  What ways can the transaction be customized to the specific organization and how much leeway does the seller have?  Finally, what steps can a seller take to maximize value during the process?
