XPX DC Metro (Hybrid Meeting) - An Owner’s Perspective of Exit Planning
Skip West started MAXSA Innovations out of the basement of his family home in 2003 with the mission of making products that make people’s lives safer and easier. MAXSA has since greatly expanded, and while the company is still family-owned and run by he and his wife, Beth, Skip has begun the process of planning for his Exit/Succession. He is still part-way through this journey and is willing to share an owner’s perspective on the complex process of Exit Planning. He’ll address questions such as:
- When did you actually decide to start planning for the transition and what prompted you to act?
- In what areas did you feel you really needed planning help?
- What did you learn along the way? What surprised you?
- How outside exit advisors can be most beneficial? What they did right and what they did wrong so far?
- What marketing tips would you give outside advisors to win the client?
Please join us for a moderated discussion/ Q&A with Skip to get a ‘from the trenches” perspective!
Note – this meeting will be a hybrid meeting – you may attend in person or via Zoom!
