XPX DC Metro: Good Business Planning IS Good Exit Planning; Laying a Foundation for Successful Transition
Selling a home with crumbling foundation is difficult to do. When a business owner decides it is time to go to market, a sound Business Planning “foundation” is essential to realizing the maximum value at sale. Many of the building blocks in that foundation are well-constructed legal documents and structures. Karen Shapiro, a Principal at Stein Sperling has spent her career guiding business owners through every stage of a business life cycle, ensuring that her client's business foundations are sound and their exits are successful. Karen holds an MBA and brings this knowledge to her legal practice to provide a “owner-centric” perspective to Business Planning. Please join us as Karen provides us an overview of the key “planning building blocks”.
