Tim Uzar
Founder and Former Owner
Ecomech Geothermal, Mechanical and Heating & Air
After serving as a project manager for several large mechanical contracting companies, Tim Uzar found himself without a job during the 2009 recession. That challenge served as the catalyst for Tim to found Ecomech LLC Geothermal & Mechanical Contractors. He leveraged his three state licenses in HVAC and home building and ran the business out of his garage, financed with his credit card. Always choosing customer satisfaction over profits, Ecomech’s reputation grew as being the most trustworthy contractor with the best performing “complex” HVAC systems. Faced with growing demand, Tim was burnt out and turned to an investment bank to successfully sell his business where he’s been retained to serve in a reduced capacity.
