Karin has over 30 years of business experience as an attorney, executive and early stage investor. She spent five years as Vice President at Mass Ventures, an early stage socially responsible venture capital fund focused on urban and rural areas of Massachusetts.

Prior to co-founding Blue Highway, Karin served as Chair of CEI Ventures, a socially  responsible impact private equity firm and served on the board of its parent company, Coastal Enterprises, Inc (CEI), a nonprofit lender and investor specializing in rural business and community development, financing and related policy. 

In 2006, Karin co-founded Furman, Gregory Deptula (FGD Law), a full service law firm which represents early stage technology companies and investors throughout New England. Karin has extensive contacts throughout the region’s technology, business, and civic communities.

Jack’s broad commercial industry experience includes: manufacturing, distribution, high tech & software, green tech & clean tech, life sciences, construction, and physicians. He specializes in business exit strategy planning for owners of private companies. This includes guidance on exit options, developing an optimal exit strategy plan, analysis and advice on tax implications and costs, due diligence, transaction structure analysis, employee compensation programs, and post-transaction integration.

Mr. Rush has deep transaction experience across a range of industries, including consumer, industrial, manufacturing, media, retail, business services, technology, communications and defense. Prior to Dunn Rush & Co., he served as Managing Director for Citi Capital Strategies, Citigroup’s middle market investment banking platform, where he established a Boston office in 2007. His previous experience includes more than eight years in investment banking with Tucker Anthony Incorporated and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, as well as 6 years in operations as Chief Operating Officer of the Community Newspaper Company, a cluster of more than 100 newspapers and specialty publications in the Boston region, prior to, through and after its sale to and GateHouse Media, Inc.

Lew is the author of Mergers & Acquisitions: A Step-by-Step Legal and Practical Guide (2nd edition) (Wiley), which he co-authored with Edwin L. Miller, Jr.
