Case Study: Navigating a Successful Exit: The Strategic Sale of a $50M Business"

Back by popular demand, we are planning to do several sessions this year working through a complex Exit Planning Case Study. Please join us in January as we kick off this case study! Here’s a synopsis:

“Simply Complex, Inc.” is a well-established technical services company specializing in system integration for Federal and State agencies, as well as numerous commercial clients. The company was founded 20 years ago by two entrepreneurs, John and Mary, who are now in their 60s. Over the years, they have successfully expanded the business, bringing in two new partners, Mark and Sarah, both in their 40s. The company has grown to a revenue of $50 million and operates in three locations. XYZ Solutions Inc. owns some valuable real estate, engages in government contracts (representing 70% of revenue), and has a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.  John and Mary would like to exit in the next three years.

Each session, we will do a brief update/topical discussion, pose a few questions to be resolved and then break into table discussion to allow you to exercise your skills. Then, we’ll reconvene to discuss your “answers”. (There may be a curve-ball or two that get tossed into the mix, as well!)
