Terence Hannafin is a Partner at Carter Morse & Goodrich, where he advises shareholders of closely held and family-owned businesses on mergers, acquisitions, and recapitalizations. He leads transaction execution across manufacturing, consumer, and business services sectors and drives the firm’s business development initiatives. Prior to CMG, Mr. Hannafin was a Managing Director at de Visscher & Co. and held positions at American Express and Morgan Stanley. He serves on the Boards of XPX Long Island and AM&AA Long Island. Mr. Hannafin earned a BS in Finance from Boston College, where he played Division I football.

Nicholas Stancu | Partner | Pelagic Capital Partners
Originally from Germany, Nicholas Stancu graduated from Northwestern University in 2009 with a degree in Mathematics. He began his career in investment banking at Guggenheim Partners before transitioning into private equity investing with Behrman Capital in New York, Cross Equity in Zurich, and Agilitas Private Equity in London. Since 2021, Nicholas has focused on acquiring and operating main street and lower middle market businesses across the U.S. through his permanent equity vehicle, Pelagic Capital Partners. His work blends institutional investing experience with hands-on business ownership to build enduring, cash-generative companies.
