XPX Dallas - The Exit Autopsy: Business Owners Tell Us What Worked, What Hurt, and What They Would Do Differently

The most useful lessons often come after the deal is done. To close the season, XPX Dallas will bring together business owners who have completed different types of transitions - such as a strategic sale, private equity recapitalization, family or management transfer, or ESOP.

The owners will discuss how they prepared their business for sale, chose advisors, evaluated buyers, handled diligence, communicated with employees and family, negotiated the difficult issues, and adjusted to life after the transaction. The moderator will press beyond the polished success story: What went wrong? What cost additional time or impacted value? Which advice mattered? Which advice came too late? What would the owner never do again? And what should every advisor understand about the owner's experience?

This program will be candid, practical, and owner-led, giving members a direct view of how multidisciplinary advice feels from the client side. Come join us!
