Caring for Clients in a Turbulent Market


2020 has been a time of unprecedented challenges to investors. The instability caused by the COVID crisis and its effects on businesses across the country have presented new challenges for Exit Planning professionals as they guide their clients. This month, we are excited to hear from a panel of our own XPX DC members to address key topics in the area personal wealth planning; we will hear from 3 panelists on the state of the market, wealth planning and tax planning. As we did last month, we will follow the panel discussion with Q&A. Please join us for this lively discussion!


Our Panelists:

Bob Cohen, Managing Equity Member – Tributum CPA Group

As the Managing Equity Member of Tributum, Bob is committed to build wealth for both businesses and individuals by utilizing the most innovative tax strategies and financial tools to preserve, build and grow your wealth. As a CPA, CFP and MBA, Bob has over 35 years of accounting experience. His extensive skills give his clients the advantage of focused and tailored advice that is highly valued. Bob holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland.




Sarah Cato, Director of Business Strategies Group – First Financial Group

With greater than 20 years of leadership experience in the mid-size business market, Sarah serves as Director of the Business Strategies Group at First Financial Group. As a professional holding the Certified Financial Planner®, Certified Exit Planner®, Chartered Financial Consultant™, Chartered Life Underwriter™, and Certified Retirement Income Professional™ designations, she specializes in business succession and retirement income planning. Sarah helps business owners develop and implement strategies that can enhance, protect and capture business equity, while at the same time coordinating personal and business planning to better build and protect their overall wealth. Using an integrative planning process, she coordinates pre-retirement and retirement income planning, with comprehensive business succession strategies and implementation. Relying on her years of experience as an entrepreneur, business owner, and CEO, she brings her “inside the trenches” knowledge to her work assisting the business community.

Jeffrey Gregorio, Senior Financial Advisor – Merrill Lynch Wealth Management

As a Senior Financial Advisor, Jeff focuses on offering a comprehensive approach to managing wealth that begins with getting to know a client and the client’s family, financial situation and what matters most to them. He then creates a customized wealth management approach that can be flexible as needs and market conditions change. Additionally, he provides access to the investment insights of Merrill and banking convenience of Bank of America. He is driven by my passion for delivering excellent service and helping clients pursue their goals. Jeff holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
