Herb Ezrin – President, Potomac Business Group
Herbert S. Ezrin is the owner CEO and President of Potomac Business Group, an investment banking firm that is in its twenty-sixth year of operation.
Herb provides M&A advising for both buy- and sell-side clients. He advises clients on all areas of a transaction including pitch book preparation, valuations, EBITDA, the Offer and financing the acquisition.
Herb also assists with capital raises, financing of all types and assisting with all needs of his clients. His years of experience brings tremendous “value add” to his clients. His motto is “where there is a will there is a way”.
Herb started his career as a CPA, then an attorney and businessman before starting Potomac Business Group. Herb is a fourth generation Washingtonian; moved to Maryland when he married; and has three children and four grandchildren.
Kevin Learned – Partner, McMahon, Welch and Learned, LLC
Kevin Learned is a founding Partner with the law firm McMahon, Welch and Learned, PLLC in Reston, Virginia. Mr. Learned’s practice focuses on advising clients on general corporate and securities matters, including company formation and governance, buy-sell agreements, operating and stockholder agreements, mergers and acquisitions, private offerings of debt and equity securities (including friends and family, angel, venture capital and private equity investments), corporate divorces and other reorganizations, joint ventures, small business certifications (including 8(a), SDVO, WOSB, HUB Zone and MBE/DBE certifications), executive employment and equity matters, deferred compensation plans, franchise agreements, trademarks, and other commercial contracts and agreements.
Michael DeVito - FVP SBA Lending, 44 Business Capital
Mike began his SBA career in 1990 as a credit underwriter with The Money Store Investment Corporation in their Philadelphia Office, and in 1994 relocated to Maryland to open The Money Store’s Mid-Atlantic office. For the past 15 years Mike has served as Vice President for EagleBank, Susquehanna Bank and most recently First Bank Financial Centre, assisting small business owners obtain necessary financing through SBA’s various lending programs throughout the DMV. In addition to his banking experience, Mike co-founded MM&D Professional Transitions, a full-service dental practice brokerage firm, and founded Atlantic Coast Capital, which arranged financing options for small business acquisitions. Mike lives in Timonium, Maryland with his wife and two sons.
