XPX Dallas: Deal Structures & Achieving Maximum Payoff After the Sale
Most everyone in our XPX Dallas Chapter has been involved in a 1031 exchange, the most common when selling your home and buying a new one. The gain on the initial basis of the property you sold and the taxes owed are deferred if you buy a new home within 6 months of the sale. However, there are more ways to leverage 1031s through simultaneous exchanges, deferred exchanges, reverse exchanges, mineral right purchases, and improvement exchanges that you or your clients may not be aware of and definitely have not taken advantage of. Join us as we listen to Chris Peterson, President of Wealthbuilder 1031, deep-dive into 1031 exchanges. You and your clients will want to take advantage of his advice and experience.

Chris Peterson is the President of WealthBuilder 1031 and a licensed Texas attorney. He speaks regularly to realtors, accountants, attorneys, and title company employees about 1031 exchanges.
