XPX Atlanta: Post-Transaction Integration
What happens inside a business after the transaction closes? Two business owners who stayed on to play critical roles in integration will share their firsthand experiences alongside experts in HR transformation and systems integration. The panel will explore the internal work that can make or break a successful transition—from retaining key employees and aligning cultures to communicating through change, integrating systems and processes, and defining the former owner’s role in the newly combined organization.
Panelists:

Valerie Cansler
Valerie Cansler is an experienced business leader and strategic executive. She started her career in the Fortune 500 world before transitioning to become a small business owner. Following the successful sale of her company, PVR Research, in 2021, she led onsite integration efforts for two years. This included managing full-time and part-time teams while navigating organizational culture shifts, team alignment, and operational integration under Curion, the corporate buyer. She now serves as a TAB (The Alternative Board) facilitator and values the opportunity to empower fellow business owners, having personally experienced the strength of TAB as a strategic resource.

Jody DaSilva
Jody daSilva is a seasoned Senior Manager with 30+ years of experience helping Fortune 500 companies and start-ups improve performance, profitability, and productivity. Her distinctive approach blends sharp business acumen with ontological training, allowing her to uncover what is working, what is hindering productivity, and the underlying barriers that keep leaders and teams from reaching their goals. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with clients, she transforms leadership and implements systems and processes that produce breakthrough results. Client outcomes include doubling revenue, restructuring executive teams, increasing customer satisfaction, maximizing operational efficiency, and building aligned, purpose-driven cultures.

Eric Holtzclaw
Eric V. Holtzclaw has spent more than 30 years building companies and has participated in and watched dozens of M&A deals. Some created enormous value. Some destroyed it. The variable was rarely the thesis or the price - it was whether anyone attacked the messy middle: the stretch after the transaction closes, when the combined company must decide what it stands for now and get customers, employees, and sales teams to believe the same thing.

Natan Junginger
Natan Junginger is the Founder and CEO of Genius Lab Technology. With a background in chemical engineering, he began his career in industrial automation, supporting post-acquisition integration projects for Fortune 500 companies. He later joined a private equity firm, where he led value creation initiatives and helped portfolio companies integrate systems and processes.

Sabrina Donley is a Fractional Chief Marketing & Growth Officer with Chief Outsiders, where she helps mid-market companies accelerate growth and increase enterprise value. Over her 25+ year career, she has led growth initiatives across industrial, manufacturing, technology, and medical device companies, including integrating more than 15 acquisitions at Emerson Electric and Filtration Group and serving on the leadership team for the $2.1 billion CenturyLink data center carve-out.
