Eliot Bassin specializes in providing tax, audit and business advisory services to individuals, closely held businesses and non-profit organizations. He is also experienced in the performance of "Yellow Book" engagements, as well as audits conducted under the Single Audit Act. He earned a Bachelor of Accountancy, Cum Laude, from the George Washington University and a M.S. in Taxation from Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is also actively involved in several community organizations.

He has over 20 years experience advising business clients and their owners on a variety of complex tax matters. He has extensive experience working with large multi-state pass-through entities. Michael regularly advises clients on corporate structure/choice of entity, sale and pre-sale planning, business acquisitions, and succession planning. Over the years, Michael has served clients across a broad spectrum of industries, such as real estate, wholesale/distribution, private equity, retail and professional service firms.

Lisa P. Staron is a Partner in the Firm’s Trusts & Estates group. Lisa’s practice includes estate, tax, and business succession planning, and estate and trust administration. Lisa also has significant experience representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in complex trust and estates litigation, including will contests, trustee surcharge and removal litigation, contested accountings, contested conservatorships and guardian proceedings, and trust and will construction actions. In addition to her litigation practice, Lisa has considerable experience with alternative dispute resolution procedures, including mediation and arbitration.
