David Hern, CEO of Sofer Advisors, provides business advisory services including litigation assistance, estate and tax planning, and business valuations for public and private companies. As a skilled financial analyst, he effectively communicates analyses to executive and has been recognized for determining enterprise and equity value in various situations. His industry experience spans technology, healthcare, services, manufacturing, distribution and construction, transportation and logistics, and retail and restaurant.

Leah is an experienced corporate lawyer, passionate about advising and sheparding small businesses from start-up phases through pre-IPO. Leah started her legal practice representing bio-tech startups, and has since represented individuals and companies across industries in all areas of commercial transactions ranging from: employment contracts, entity formation and conversion, IP matters, negotiations, M&A, securities, licensing, international law, commercial real estate, development agreements, and corporate taxation. When not practicing law, Leah enjoys running, hiking with her dogs, spending time with her family and traveling. Leah is licensed in Tennessee and Utah.

David Mayer specializes in traditional estate planning for high-net-worth families and individuals, with a focus on complex trust drafting around estate and gift tax issues. Deeply involved in the intertwined legal and practical aspects of wealth preservation and transmission. Dave earned his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University and his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. He received a Master of Accountancy from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University, where he also obtained his Bachelor of Science in economics, engineering science, & mathematics.

Prior to that Rob practiced law in Memphis for 10 years specializing in estate planning, probate, trust, related disputes/litigation and taxation. He is currently one of 26 certified legal specialists in estate planning in the state of Tennessee. Worked in wealth management for five years focusing on the ultra-high net worth. Fiduciary Counsel for 10-billion-dollar bank trust department. Candidate for Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from the University of Florida (expect to graduate in the Fall).
