Login:

  • Login does not work as expected when using a VPN, cookie blocker, or certain browser settings.
  • Login does not work as expected when limiting number of redirects.

Issue: Event registration + login

When trying to login from an event page after the user enters their credentials and it authenticates the user, the user is then redirected back to the event page without logging in the user.

Workaround

  1. Make sure cookies are enabled for both exitplanningexchange.com and my.exitplanningexchange.com
  2. Force refresh the page as sometimes the login does not appear to update the page content.
    • Windows and Linux browsers: CTRL + F5
    • Apple Safari: SHIFT + Reload toolbar button
    • Chrome and Firefox for Mac: CMD + SHIFT + R
  3. Clear website cache

Event Calendar:

  • Apple iCal only works while using Safari.

Login

Issue: Login does not work as expected when using a VPN, cookie blocker, or certain browser settings

Additionally, if you’re using certain browser extensions or add-ons, such as ad-blockers or script-blockers, these may also prevent you from logging in to XPX. Try disabling any extensions or add-ons and logging in again. If you’re still having trouble, our support team can provide additional troubleshooting assistance.

Issue: Login does not work as expected when limiting the number of redirects

If you have set your browser to limit the number of redirects, you may experience issues logging in to XPX. To resolve this issue, try adjusting your browser settings to allow for more redirects. You can also try clearing your browser cache and cookies, or using a different browser to log in.

Issue: Add To Calendar Apple iCal only works while using Safari

If you’re experiencing issues using Apple iCal and it only works while using Safari, it’s possible that your browser settings or operating system may be the cause. Apple iCal is designed to work seamlessly with Safari, so using a different browser may cause compatibility issues.

To ensure that Apple iCal works properly, try using Safari as your default browser when using iCal. If you’re still experiencing issues, try clearing your browser cache and cookies or updating your browser to the latest version.

If you’re using a different operating system other than macOS or iOS, you may need to ensure that your system is compatible with Apple iCal. Additionally, you may need to adjust your system settings to allow for proper integration with iCal.
