XPX Triangle: Maximizing Value When Selling Your Business
Overview/take away: This session will help identify strategies that business owners can implement before, during, and after a sale to maximize value after income taxes and estate taxes when they are selling their business. Strategies we will discuss include, Section 1202 Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS), pre-transaction gifts to various trusts, and integrating philanthropic goals with an exit. Importantly, we will discuss how today’s new political landscape may impact certain strategies vs. others. Those who participate should be able to take away the strategies that are available and when to apply them.
