In 2021, Paul and his partner sold 100% of the business to a private equity firm and then remained as the President of the company. Currently the company is in the process of being acquired again. Paul Addington is the President and co-founder of Pro-Pave, Inc., a premier commercial asphalt paving and concrete company serving the Mid-Atlantic region. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1993, Paul began his career as a sales professional. He started with pagers, then transitioned to medical devices, and later raised capital for a small hedge fund.
In 2001, driven by a vision to build something from the ground up, Paul and his friend Thomas Martin founded Pro-Pave. Initially focused on quality residential paving in the Washington, D.C. area, the company quickly grew under Paul’s leadership, becoming the go-to contractor for large commercial projects. Today, Pro-Pave is trusted by top national builders and serves clients across diverse sectors, including education, military, retail, and multi-family residential. Notable projects include work at iconic locations like Arlington National Cemetery and the Pentagon.
With more than two decades at the helm, Paul continues to guide Pro-Pave with a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
