Rick is not a character in a story.
He’s EVERY entrepreneur I’ve ever sat across from. Scan the images below to see if you recognize him as a client or other busines owner. If you do, ‘Never Climb Alone’ was written for him or her.
Rick found his Sherpa. So can they. And I want to help…
Never Climb Alone is a busines fable written by the founder of FocusCFO, Brad Martyn. It can be ordered on Amazon.
However…. I want to give it away! I want to help get it in the hands of as many business owners as feasible. If you know such an owner, a client or otherwise, who would benefit from this book… I will mail it to them, free, with a note stating it is courtesy of you!
If of interest, please reach out to me at M.Stier@FocusCFO.com to provide the details.

‘No business owner should ever have to climb alone’ – Very strong advice
With a sense of warmth, Martyn opens with a description of Sherpa – a mountain-dwelling people native to Nepal with obvious skills in the art of climbing a mountain, who know the trail and can carry part of the load and help climb the mountain. His business fable defines and explains the impact and need for fractional CFOs who know the secret of focusing on what the business owner does best while building a stronger, more scalable business. The fractional CFO is the Sherpa, and the advice contained in this instructive ‘fable’ is terrific for all businesses to learn.
This is what Never Climb Alone was supposed to do.
Not just explain fractional CFOs. Not just sell a book.
Make people feel less alone in the climb.
And remind every entrepreneur that the summit is still out there. And you don’t have to figure out how to get there by yourself.

*****Simple Lessons That Actually Stick ***** The aspect of the book that impressed me most was how complex terms of finance had been simplified to an understandable story. The experiences of Rick made it feel like a real life application rather than theoretical knowledge. The aspect that I find particularly helpful was the differentiation between profits and cash flow, since I believe it can be directly applied.
I’ve sat across from hundreds of business owners, watched companies transform, and helped entrepreneurs find their way back to loving what they built.
