Health – Stabilize It

Your Health – Stabilize It

Your owner clients been carefully planning and nurturing their career.

Has their health been planned with the same intention?

The first year of retirement (and I’ll add the six month before retirement) are the most dangerous of their life.

  • Stress levels are higher as they plan for succession and/or the sale of their business.
  • They work in their business by day and on the next chapter for their business by night.
  • Sleep is often the first thing to go during such a high-pressure time.
  • Their closest relationships are framing their expectations while the owner is framing theirs; often without good communication to determine if they are aligned.
  • They spend more time at their desk, skipping workouts, letting the stress levels rise.
  • Everyone wants a last meal, last drinks, final party with them, so the weight goes up and up.
  • Then the disillusionment can hit just a few months into the new freedom after they big retirement party. Who are they now?

They can take steps now, ideally 3-5 years before the exit, to assure they can physically, cognitively, and emotionally thrive now and as life changes in the future.

They owe this to themself and those they care about.

Stabilize health now before it slips away.

I invite you to invite your owner clients (or yourself if you are picturing life after career) to one day in Charlotte to do the critical personal planning.  https://exitreadysummit.com/
